We have the following apprenticeship opportunities in Business administration, which will provide the successful applicants with the relevant skills and experience to build towards their future career.

About the Roles
These roles will provide an invaluable insight into working in Business administration within Local Government. Candidates should be confident with good communication and IT skills.
You should have a strong commitment to develop your potential by combining practical work experience and study, to achieve an NVQ Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Apprentice - Development Management, Planning Enforcement & Heritage (Endeavour House, Ipswich)
During the 18-month period you will be given the opportunity to learn a range of administration roles within the larger support team. This will include working in Customer Services, Heritage Administration Support, Planning Application Validation and Planning Enforcement Administration Support.
You will be dealing with telephone and email enquiries, data inputting, creating new cases, checking application documentation, and maintaining our electronic document management filing system and will have the chance to learn all aspects of the support functions within this large team, in addition to giving us a flexible staff resource.
Apprentice – Waste Services (Creeting Road Depot, Stowmarket)
The Waste Service team, working with our service partner Serco from our two operational depots in Sudbury and Stowmarket, run 26 frontline collection rounds every day, providing our residents and businesses with a range of waste and recycling services, making over 5 million collections in a year and handling & transporting over 65,000 tonnes of waste and recycling.
Your role in the Waste team will contribute to the Waste Management Services, dealing with household waste, recycling and commercial waste, including detailed administrative tasks, processing and maintaining data and dealing with enquiries from the public.
Apprentice – Economy and Business – (Endeavour House, Ipswich)
Working within the Economy and Regeneration teams, you will assist with data and administrations tasks that support business and economic analysis across our districts. This will include work relating to the town centre vision plan and capital and regeneration projects as well as general activities that support the running of the Economy and Regeneration Service.

- Have a strong commitment to developing your potential by combining practical work experience and study, to achieve an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration qualification.
