Fixed term for 2 years.
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our two year Level 3 Town Planning Apprenticeship Scheme with fully supported study. Combining a job with block release training, you will gain a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Town Planning Technical Support and an ABBE Level 3 NVQ in Town Planning Technical Support from Chichester College in West Sussex.
Town Planning is about shaping places; places where people want to live, work and do business. You will be working with communities, developers, housebuilders and the wider public sector to plan Suffolk’s future.
The apprenticeship is aimed at those looking for their first position in Town Planning.
You will need to have:
- 5 GCSEs (Grades 9 – 5) or equivalent, including English and Maths
- IT skills
- an interest in how places adapt and develop to meet future needs
- a willingness to learn and be self-motivated
- a customer focused approach
- good communication skills (written and verbal)
- a commitment to study and learn outside work.
