The Economic Development Team is part of the Strategic Development division which aims to deliver long term sustainable growth in the Suffolk economy. We work closely with external partners such as the Local Enterprise Partnership, neighbouring county councils and other Suffolk authorities as well as our business community.

This post is currently assigned to the new Norfolk and Suffolk Unlimited Inward Investment Team at New Anglia LEP, until 31st March 2023. You will therefore be an employee of Suffolk County Council but working, on a day to day basis, for the LEP’s Inward Investment Team from their offices at Norwich Research Park, Norwich, and Wherstead Park, Ipswich. 

The role will encompass working across both Norfolk and Suffolk, promoting business growth and inward investment opportunities for the region. Line management for the duration of the assignment will be through the New Anglia LEP Head of Inward Investment. 

On completion of the assignment you will revert back to being a member of Suffolk County Council’s Economic Development Team, delivering against this Job and Person Profile.
