Home-Start in Suffolk is a countywide charity providing high quality, needs led, volunteer support to over 550 families within Suffolk each year.

We require an enthusiastic and creative Senior family support coordinator to join our busy team. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about inclusion, engagement, be familiar with providing support to families and have the ability to draw on their experiences.

This role aims to support, empower, and widen client participation of BAME and other minority groups across Suffolk

We are looking for someone who is able to use their existing experience of working with BAME and minority groups to develop positive, professional relationships with a range of clients, volunteers, professionals, and other organisations. The successful candidate will also be able to create, organise, and deliver stimulating and informative awareness sessions to our wider team.

As this is a Senior role, you will be expected, on occasion, to deputise for the Family Support Manager, provide support to our team of family support coordinators attend various stakeholder meetings and represent the organisation at events.
