A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our Electoral Services team. This apprenticeship opportunity could be your ideal first step on the career ladder in the Elections field.

The role consists of working as part of a small, friendly team managing the elections across East Suffolk. You will be involved in administrative work maintaining the electoral register, dealing with elector enquiries, and supporting with the delivery of a variety of elections.

You will need to have excellent accuracy and interpersonal skills, an aptitude for ICT and a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grades 4 -9/Grade C and above (or equivalent) including English and Maths. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

**Due to the current situation, all selection interviews will be completed virtually via Skype. We are aiming for this apprenticeship position to start in approximately mid/late September 2020, but this timeframe will need to be regularly re-assessed in line with the current situation and any government guidance that is released around Covid-19.
