East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work and a great place to make a real difference to people’s lives, delivering vital services to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to manage the delivery of the Lowestoft High Street HAZ (HSHAZ) from inception until project closure in March 2024. The aim of this project is to promote and conserve key aspects of the Town’s built heritage by fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the historic environment. This involves working with a wide range of stakeholders and enabling heritage-led regeneration projects and initiatives to stimulate local economic growth within the HS HAZ area.

You must be passionate about heritage and willing to champion its value to a wide range of audiences. You will work with stakeholders, partners and colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of the projects within the programme, ensuring they are delivered within the agreed scope, timescales, budget and agreed success criteria.

In return, we can offer great opportunities for training and development and we’ll give you all the support we can to build a great career with our organisation. There’s also a superb benefits package including flexible working options and purpose-built, brand new office accommodation, as well as a generous leave entitlement, discount scheme, pension scheme and free car parking.

Please read the job description and person specification before applying for this job.
