Are you passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people in Suffolk and work for a Children and Young People's Service that has been rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted?

Do you want to work for an organisation who are committed to supporting their staff to achieve a healthy work-life balance?

Suffolk County Council successfully won the contract to deliver the 0 - 19 Healthy Child Service for the whole of Suffolk, working across School Nursing, Health and Children's Centres and Family Nurse Partnership and the new Health Business Centre teams.

We are recruiting for Health Visitors or School Nurses (Specialist Community Public Health Nurses) for the Health Business Centre.

The Health Business Centre team based in Ipswich is at the forefront for the delivery of a high-quality and responsive service to enable clients and stakeholders to receive advice and timely support via a single point of access. Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (Health Visiting or School Nursing) and Staff Nurses will support a clinically led duty and triage service responding to clinical communications into the service.

A shift pattern enables coverage of the service from 8am - 7.30pm.

We offer an attractive employment package, ideal for keeping a healthy work-life balance, including:

  • part time hours
  • commitment to offering training and professional development opportunities.

If you are as passionate and committed as we are in driving high quality care and effective outcomes for children, young people and families, please apply or contact Tara Saunders on 07415 799474 or Jo Nelson on 07894 231206 for an informal discussion.

Please see the Suffolk County Council Recruitment Brochure for more information, including Staff Benefits.

Please read the Job and Person Profile before applying for this job.
