Suffolk County Council legal services, Suffolk Legal, has had a renowned advocacy service for several years and there is an opportunity to join an experienced, well-regarded legal team delivering high-quality services to the county council and other public bodies.
You will represent the Directorate of Health, Wellbeing and Children’s Services in all proceedings before the Family Court at every level. You will receive your instructions from our in-house children’s team.
You will provide comprehensive, high level advice on the Children Act 1989 and associated legislation and guidance to include Special Educational Needs and Disability (and tribunal advocacy).
You will be willing to embrace new technology and ways of working.
Suffolk Legal provides a flexible and dynamic service which is capable of responding quickly to new initiatives and changing priorities. You will be a key player in achieving this aim.
