Head of Operations and Partnership (Senior Manager) – North, Adult Social Care.

Flexible Working options available to support you, your work-life balance and career.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced manager with excellent knowledge and understanding of the health and social care sector.

The main purpose of this role is to contribute to the effective leadership of the Waveney Adult and Community Services area team, delivering good quality services and effective integration between health and social care through collaborative working with stakeholders and partners to deliver better outcomes for the people of Suffolk.

You will provide proactive and visible leadership and accountability for the effective running of the operational teams. As a leader, you will be expected to promote Suffolk County Council’s vision, objectives and priorities effectively to your staff, our partners, and the public and inspire others by role modelling our organisational values at all times.

You will promote a culture of value for money, enable change management support to embed continuous improvement. You will develop and maintain exceptional standards in practice by working closely with partners and the third sector colleagues to develop and maintain excellent relationships.

You should have demonstrable evidence of high performance and achievement at a senior level within a local authority or other organisation with comparable scope, size, and complexity.

In return we offer you:

  • an exciting role with great potential for changing people’s experience of health and care
  • experience as a leader in an innovative integration
  • the ability to work flexibly to balance work and your personal priorities
  • a great team to work with in a beautiful place of the county.

This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role you will need to operate across a wide and rural area, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.
