We are looking for an experienced and skilful social care manager to join us as Head of Children's Social Care Fieldwork.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high performing team whose children's services are rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
We have developed excellent practice standards based on a strengths-based model and are building strong and resilient relationships with children and young people. You will be experienced and knowledgeable in Signs of Safety to join us in our ambition to deepen and further strengthen our practice.
We want to see applications from experienced managers who are qualified and registered social workers with good professional judgement based on both their professional experience and their continued professional development. We would especially like applicants to demonstrate their ability to sustain high performance over time.
We are proud to have created an environment where our social work professionals can accomplish the outcomes they came into the profession to achieve and our managers and leaders strive to create an environment where social work practice thrives. We are committed to creating a genuine learning environment which empowers and encourages staff, provides support and challenge and fundamentally focusses on children first and foremost.
As a senior manager in Children and Young People’s Services, you will take a lead role in ensuring a dynamic and adaptive service which aims to have safer, happier children, and to enable families to create sustainable change for themselves at the heart of everything that we do.
In return, you will join an 'Outstanding' service where there is a great opportunity to develop your career in a truly supporting environment.
A relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration is essential.
