Required from September 2019.

NQTs welcome to apply.

Thetford Academy is seeking an inspiring, innovative, and dedicated teacher of science to join our team; a teacher who shares our belief that all pupils have the right to succeed and have access to the very best education.

You will deliver a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum for students and support the science curriculum area.

You will monitor and support students' progress and development and contribute to raising standards and attainment, motivating and challenging students to achieve their very best.

As part of the Inspiration Trust, twice ranked the top comprehensive schools group for secondary progress, we offer high-quality, personalised professional development in addition to excellent career development opportunities.

You will have the opportunities to help your career flourish, in a supportive and stimulating environment. Our 2018 Ofsted inspection confirmed Thetford Academy to be 'Good'.

Our location close to the A11 makes us easy to reach from Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. The rich pine forests and heathland of the Brecks are close by to help you relax in your time off, with good connections both to London and to Norfolk's fabulous beaches and Broads.

Visits to the academy are welcome. To arrange a visit, please contact Ilona Haye on (01842) 754875.

Please note, we may close applications for this role early depending on application numbers, so we would encourage candidates to submit an application as early as possible.
