Priory currently has 189 places including 23 residential places. The age range is 5-18 years.
Priory School continues to expand its student roll and we seek a dynamic and inspirational thinker, to take responsibility for a KS2 Tutor group and deliver outstanding SEND teaching across the curriculum.
We welcome applications from NQTs who wish to develop their career and have the potential, with support, to quickly develop into an outstanding Teacher in an environment where students have a range of complex, moderate learning needs.
SENDAT has a strong ethos for developing core literacy and numeracy whilst also developing the ‘whole child’, promoting self-esteem, confidence and social skills.
We offer professional training and development to enhance knowledge and understanding of SEND, with professional mentoring and small teaching groups.
As part of SENDAT (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Trust), we offer:
- the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our students, who have a range of complex educational needs
- career development opportunities
- a supportive and friendly working environment
