  • 37 hpw, 40 weeks per year.
  • Commencing as soon as possible.

Applications are invited from individuals with excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills. You will be involved in the continual monitoring of our students’ progress in order to support their personal and academic development and future progress. A key part of the role will also be the delivery of tutorial sessions to your cohort of students.

Your role will be to motivate, inspire and encourage students to achieve the best they can.  You will contribute to a culture of high expectations, excellent teaching and robust tracking and support. You will have experience of working with young people in an educational setting and possess the knowledge and ability to provide appropriate guidance for our students. 

Abbeygate Sixth Form College is part of the Suffolk Academies Trust, working closely with One Sixth Form College and West Suffolk College. Abbeygate opened in 2019, with a Year 12 cohort only, and in September 2020 we moved into our brand new building, accommodating both Year 12 and 13. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, with a wide range of activities and opportunities to enrich and extend students’ experience to develop well-rounded individuals with the key skills required for their future studies and careers.
