Fixed term contract until July 2020.

We are seeking to appoint an effective and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking and skilled team. You will be working under the guidance of teaching staff and our SENDCo to enhance the learning and personal development of the children you will be working with to ensure they have access to the best possible education.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual, who wants to have a positive impact on pupils' learning by working with individuals and small groups. You will also need to have a willingness to assist whole class teaching and learning when necessary as a general learning support assistant and be flexible according to the needs of the individuals within the school. You will need good communication and written skills, and be able to communicate effectively with the children, the SENDCo, staff and parents.

Experience of supporting children with additional needs is required, although additional support and training will be offered. In particular, we are looking for someone who has recent experience of being employed in a primary school and experience within Early Years would beneficial. Most importantly, you must have the aspirations and desire to make a difference by providing exceptional care, guidance and support, so that pupils thrive and make excellent progress.
