Required from September 2019.

The days and hours can be flexible - the post does not have a teaching commitment.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and highly committed individual to carry out the role of SENCO.

We are seeking a self-motivated and innovative leader to further drive forward the teaching and learning of SEND pupils.

You will have responsibility for the day to day running of SEND, including organising and conducting annual reviews and initiating a range of interventions.

The role is demanding and challenging but very rewarding and so we need a SENCO who is proactive, passionate and a model of good practice for all teaching staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

This post is a vital appointment in terms of enhancing and ensuring the positive life chances for our pupils through success and achievement. As such we are keen to recruit a dedicated and ambitious professional who will add value through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.

You will be committed to maximising the progress and achievement of every SEND pupil. You will be a dedicated and forward-thinking person who can contribute to the growth and development of the staff team and be willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.

To arrange a visit, please contact Sarah Franks, PA to the Headteacher on (01440) 702836 or via email: sfranks@placefarm.org.uk

To apply, please visit: candidate.unitysp-careers.co.uk

Interview date: 4 July 2019.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks required for relevant posts.
