We are looking for a diligent, honest and hard-working colleague who will be committed to supporting our students to become the very best people that they can be.  The position involves working with Year 8 and 9 students under the guidance and direction of the Head of Year 8 and 9.

This will be a challenging but extremely rewarding position which often involves working closely with some of our most vulnerable and challenging students. We care passionately about our students as individuals, and support and encourage them to achieve success in all aspects of school life. Level 3 qualifications and GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent) are essential. Experience of working with secondary age students is desirable.

Stowmarket High School is situated in picturesque mid Suffolk with excellent commuter links to Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich. We are an inclusive 11 – 18 Academy and part of Waveney Valley Academies Trust. Construction of a new school is now complete on our current site and we have moved into our new state of the art school.
