An opportunity has arisen to join Sybil Andrews Academy as part of our expanding team of Learning Support Assistants.

We are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and skilled learning support assistant to support students in our school on either a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Applicants should have a specialism in English or Mathematics (either educated to A Level standard in English or Mathematics or confidence to work with students to GCSE level in English or Mathematics.

The role will encompass in class, individual and group support. To be successful, you will be flexible and demonstrate an ability to use your own initiative in meeting the needs of students with SEND. In addition, you will have secure literacy, numeracy and ICT skills and will have a range of experience of working with young people with SEND.
