  • £23,541 to £27,041 pro rata (£21,006 - £24,130 pa). 

Our Library is the heart of our school and we are looking to appoint a pro-active and dynamic Librarian/Resource Centre Manager to grow and develop the existing services that are provided for our students and staff.

Alongside the core role of Librarian, you will provide a nurturing and welcoming space for all students. Maintain active links with all faculty areas to ensure the continued development of our students including offering a range of enrichment and extra curricular clubs and activities. You will also work closely with the English Faculty to offer BookBuzz and Library lessons.

 You will need to be: 

  • Calm, patient and firm, with an ability to empathise with students who have difficulties with communication and social skills
  • Flexible in your approach to all aspects of the job role and the ability to cope with a wide range of tasks.
  • Able to use good communication skills
  • Able to foster good working relationships with students and colleagues.

The successful applicant is required to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft products and have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above.

Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful, 11-18 school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results.
