Teaching Assistants for RAISE - Therapeutic Resource Base

We have an approach based upon SCERTS that uses a therapeutic approach to teaching children to self-regulate themselves.

Pupils can display significant levels of challenging behaviour and we use a very intensive support programme to develop alternative communication strategies to reduce those behaviours that restrict their social interaction.

As part of a team you will need to be creative as well as resilient with a significant sense of fun. Play is an important part of the therapeutic approach.
