West Team, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Autism Service, Adult and Community Services (ACS).
We welcome applications from qualified Social Workers or Occupational Therapists ready to take their first step into operational management.
You will need to be motivated with significant frontline experience within social care services.
Principally, you will provide professional support as a Social Work Senior Practitioner to the area social work team, working alongside the Team Manager, you will successfully contribute to the effective leadership of ACS, supporting the Senior Management Team (SMT) in delivering a high-performance culture and excellent quality services.
You will be a ‘systems thinker’ and committed to ensuring effective integration between health and social care, through collaboration with partners across the system, including NSFT and CYP.
You will be passionate about finding new and innovative ways of working to deliver better outcomes for the people of Suffolk, with a focus on ensuring preventative and long-term sustainable solutions that enable people to live long and fulfilling lives by maximising their independence.

HCPC registration is essential, along with evidence of continued professional development.
To be successful in this job you will need a positive and proactive attitude to challenging situations and problem solving, using a collaborative and engaging approach with your team.
This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role you will need to operate across a wide and rural area, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.
