Take the next step in your Social Work career, to play a key role in our team and make a real difference in Suffolk.
In this role, you will act as a role model, playing a key part in promoting personalisation, independence, wellbeing and choice to people. This will include carrying out the most complex asset-based assessments / reviews, short term enablement plans (STEPs), care and support plans and safeguarding plans.
You will offer ongoing advice in line with the principles of SLCC / Signs of Safety and Wellbeing, promoting self-support, reablement / progression and personalisation. You will, where necessary, provide daily living equipment, adaptations, assistive technology, community and other resources to promote independence and wellbeing. You will also provide supervision to a small number of qualified and unqualified workers in the team.
This is an exciting time for Adult and Community Services and we are currently recruiting following a redesign of our social care service, putting in place locality and partnership working and enhancing our integration with health.
A relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration is essential, along with continued professional development.
You will be required to travel frequently in rural areas, so you must hold a full driving licence and have access to personal transport.
