We have relaunched our popular Kids Camp and are on the lookout for new team members at Wymondham Leisure Centre. If you have a passion for helping young people develop their cognitive skills, confidence, health, and wellbeing whilst having fun, then read on!

What you’ll be doing…
- Leading activities
- Ensuring Kids Camp Assistants are engaged and involved
- Delegating jobs to Kids Camp Assistants
- Ensuring the safety of all children
- Setting up activities
- Ensuring the scheme is well run and contributing towards its development
- Carrying out basic housekeeping duties
- Making sure everyone has fun!
You must have…
Level 3 (or higher) Childcare qualification. A First Aid at Work qualification or the willingness to attain one through ourselves.
Experience in working with children and young people from a wide range of backgrounds. An understanding of the principles of play and the role of adults. Ability to be innovative in helping organise/plan activities. An awareness of child development, children’s rights, and the importance of working within an equal opportunities’ framework. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to relate well to children/young people and adults. You must also have good attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with our customers.
