Role Snapshot…

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils have relaunched their popular Kids Camp and are on the lookout for new team members. If you’re outgoing, energetic, and have a passion for helping young people develop their cognitive skills, confidence, health, and wellbeing whilst having fun, then read on!

What you’ll be doing…

  • Assisting on and setting up activities
  • Assisting signing in and out
  • Following instructions from the Kids Camp supervisors
  • Ensuring the safety of all children
  • Ensuring the scheme is well run and contributing towards its development
  • Carrying out basic housekeeping duties in areas used
  • Making sure everyone has fun!

You must have…

A passion for working with children and young people. A willingness to undertake professional development specific to the facilities.  A First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification or the willingness to attain one through ourselves. You must have good attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with our customers. Previous experience in a play scheme/holiday club environment and previous work with children is desirable. Experience working with the public and a friendly and approachable manner. Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate well to children/young people and adults.
