The centre is always busy, each week we run a few pool-based classes and our swim school is incredibly popular alongside these we have a busy timetable with options for the whole family. Diss Leisure Centre is part of the South Norfolk and Broadland council and is one of 5 Leisure Sites. What you’ll be doing…

  • Supervising the pool area
  • Setting up activities within the centre such as putting lane ropes out for sessions/classes/swim school and putting out equipment.
  • Ensuring the centre is well run, clean and tidy, and always ready for business
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Our teams work across our 5 leisure centres so you need to be able to travel between centres and enjoy this flexible working style.

 

You must have…

 

Essential Criteria

Essential Skills

NPLQ (or willingness to undertake the training with us which will involve a practical swim assessment)

Good Concentration Skills

First Aid Qualification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the team and customers

 

Previous experience within the leisure industry is desirable.
