Claydon Primary School is seeking to appoint a new enthusiastic Head of School to build on improving results and to continue to move the academy forward.
You will have:
- the leadership qualities to inspire and encourage staff and students to achieve their very best.
- an innovative, inclusive approach to leadership and work closely with Sarah Skinner the CEO of the trust.
Claydon Primary School joined the South Suffolk Learning Trust in June 2017.
Although Claydon Primary School is the lone primary in our trust, with four high schools we are a multi-academy trust built on strong collaborative cross phase working. If specialist primary knowledge is required the trust will find suitable support externally.

The school is located in Claydon, 3 miles north of the county town of Ipswich. The school has 437 students which is increasing due to the recent extension to the school which opened in September 2019. A relentless focus on improving academic outcomes, high quality CPD for staff and collaboration with other trust schools is central to the continuing improvements being made at this school.
