Beccles Free School (part of Seckford Education Trust) was set up at the request of those members of the community who wanted to improve aspirations and rates of progress for young people of secondary school age. Our vision and ethos are therefore structured around achieving those overarching objectives.
As a confident and happy school, our students receive excellent pastoral care and support in a small school setting.
Our staff members know each of their students as individuals. As an all-inclusive school, we celebrate the successes of all our students together as a community and we have aspirations that everyone will make progress above the national average.
We are seeking a talented Teacher of Food Technology to join us. You will play an active role in the school's development as we continue to grow year on year, working in an environment where you will really make a difference. You must be committed to raising the standard of our students by creative and engaging teaching.
All our schools operate an engaging and exciting Enrichment programme on a Wednesday afternoon. Within each post there is the opportunity to take an active lead or volunteer role within our Enrichment programme. At Beccles Free School we are particularly interested in staff showing a desire to become involved in our SC (Sea Cadets) and DoE (Duke of Edinburgh) programmes.
