Schools are mainly in Suffolk, and also in Cambridge, Essex and Havering.

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective Trust subject leader for Mathematics to lead on the design of curriculum provision and resources for Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5. This will include the monitoring, evaluation and review of standards and provision within Mathematics departments across each of our eight secondary and two middle schools.

You will play a leading and highly visible role in the improvement of teaching and learning of Mathematics and the academic success of all pupils across our eight secondary schools ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all our students.

Unity Trust has a strong track record of improvement and we want to ensure that we build on this moving forward. Your new role within this new post will be integral in ensuring that this is achieved.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has significant experience of leading successful Mathematics departments, with a proven track record of positive outcomes for students across the key stages
  • has the ability to draw on ideas from research and experience to improve practice within our schools and have an awareness of curriculum changes
  • is a confident and innovative practitioner who can drive our schools forward and ensure parity across our academies.
