The Special Educational Needs and Academies Trust (SENDAT) is a Multi Academy Trust focusing on specialist provision and special schools. Its core aim is to provide for the continuum of special needs across the Eastern region.
All SENDAT schools and alternate provisions have Trauma Informed practices embedded across the curriculum and SENDAT staff colleagues are given training and support to develop and use these skills in their day-to-day working.
We are looking for an additional RACCO to work as part of our small Residential team, responsible for the care and wellbeing of all students accessing the residential provision.
The Residential teams work on a rota basis with variable start and finish times:
- Monday - Thursday: Split shifts, hours variable between 7am – 10.30am / 2.30pm – 10pm.
- Friday: Single shift, hours variable between 7pm – 4pm.
- Plus sleep-in on a rota basis.
As part of our residential team, you will be responsible for the physical care, well-being and residential education of our students, helping them to develop self-dependence and the social skills to integrate successfully into the school and wider communities.
In return for your hard work and commitment to our students, we offer a range of career development opportunities and a supportive working environment
