At The Albany we believe everyone matters, creating a family of young people and staff who grow and learn together. Pupils are grouped in cross phase classes taught in a primary methodology, enabling much stronger adult-pupil and pupil-pupil relationships to be fostered.

Our primary aim is to build sustainable change within our children so that they become resilient, emotionally articulate young people able to positively engage in the next steps of their education.

We are seeking teachers with the passion and ability to engage children and young people who communicate their needs through challenging behaviour, enabling accelerated progress. We are expanding our offer and as such, an ability to lead creative, sporting or practical subjects would be beneficial, but not essential.

Whilst this opportunity suits both primary and secondary trained teachers, we are particularly keen to attract primary teachers seeking to expand their knowledge and experience prior to leadership. It is also suitable for NQTs looking to gain experience in specialist education.
